Description: the Food Pantry Project is one of United Way of Oxford County’s community initiatives.  United Way of Oxford County will deliver portable shelving units to a participating business that will participate in a food drive for two weeks to a month. At the end of the food drive period United Way of Oxford County will come pick up shelving units and donated food and drop it off at a local food pantry. The next month, the shelving units will be dropped off to a different business and donations will be brought to a different food pantry than the previous month.   Responsibilities: a Food Pantry Project Volunteer will be responsible for the following: Coordinating with local businesses and signing them up to participate Coordinating with local food pantries to record their current needs Keep an accurate list of business and pantries that have participated in the program Some travel may be required   Requirements: a Food Pantry Project Volunteer must possess the following qualities: Very organized Outgoing Friendly Team player Self motivated Flexible
